History Of REMUS

 A STORY OF SUCCESS STARTS

1990:

Team Spirit, experience, profound technical knowledge, first class equipment with ultra-modern development and production facilities are the basis for REMUS's story of success. The story begins in september 1990 with five employees, One month later in the green countryside of Barnbach, the first spade of truf was turned over for the REMUS building. In a record time of six months a fully functional factory building with intergrated development, production, administration and wharehousing was set up.

1991:

By spring 1991 40 employees are working for REMUS:  in late 1991 the company expands for the first time. By now there are already 60 people on th payroll, and new markets are opened up: Apart from Europe the company also delivers now to japan and sinapore. About 100 employees contribute now to enlarge the range of products permanently and to maintain the well-known high quality of REMUS products.

1993:

In 1993 the second expansion of the premises is carried out and further jobs are created. "REMUS becomes a global player" and ventures into the overseas markets of the USA and South East Asia. After only five years and about 300 employees REMUS becamethe market leader amongst the constructors of sport exhausts. The wolf has left its tracks in more than 30 countries all around the world. Two further expansions not only at the headquarters were to follow. 

1999:

in the summer of 1999 the new factory ll is opened an investment that became necessary because of a growing motorcycle market and an increasing demand for REMUS exhaust systems. And in the spring of 2002 a new ultra-modern R&D department is opened. The number of employees has increased to more than 600 people.

2002:

A new investment program was decided. the aim of this investment is a further expansion of the development and production in conjunction with the securing of jobs, as well as the clear establishing of REMUS as a world-wide market leader. In the future innovative products with the wolf head trademark will be a guarantee for REMUS' world-wide pole position amongst the manufacturers of sport exhaust.
